Freedom. Since the autumn of 2023, significant segments of the Georgian population have been protesting against the increasingly autocratic and Russia-oriented trajectory of the ruling party. These demonstrations are driven by demands for continued integration with the European Union, the conduct of free and fair elections, and the release of political prisoners. In pursuing these objectives, civil society actors in Georgia depend on the informed support and solidarity of European and Western democratic partners. Raising awareness and fostering cooperation are thus essential. Tavisupleba I Freedom seeks to contribute to this discourse.
